Overview

Our merchandise return policy lasts 30 days from the date your order is delivered. After 30 days, we cannot offer a full refund or exchange unless required by law.

This policy distinguishes purchases of physical merchandise from charitable donations. Please contact RIBHS before mailing a return so that we can confirm the next steps.

Charitable donations

Charitable donations are generally non-refundable. If you believe a donation was made in error, was duplicated, or was processed for an incorrect amount, contact RIBHS promptly at origins@riblackheritage.org.

Requests concerning a donation will be reviewed individually. Any approved refund will be returned to the original payment method and may be subject to the processing requirements of the secure donation form and payment provider used for the transaction.

Merchandise returns

To be eligible for a return, an item must be unused, in the same condition in which it was received, and in its original packaging. A receipt or other proof of purchase is required.

Items that cannot be returned

• Gift cards and downloadable products
• Perishable, personalized, intimate, sanitary, hazardous, or flammable goods
• Opened media or software products
• Items damaged or missing parts for reasons not caused by RIBHS
• Items returned more than 30 days after delivery

Refunds

After a returned item is received and inspected, RIBHS will notify you whether the refund is approved or declined. If approved, the refund will be submitted to the original payment method. The time needed for the credit to appear depends on your bank or payment provider.

Exchanges and gifts

We replace merchandise only when it arrives defective or damaged. Contact us before returning the item so we can confirm availability and provide instructions.
